(Washington, DC) -- A Missouri meat company is recalling more than four-thousand pounds of beef due to concerns about mad cow disease. The beef was turned into ribeyes and quartered sides of beef. The ribeyes were sent to a restaurant in New York City, while the sides were sent to a plant in Missouri and a restaurant in Kansas City for processing. If someone eats the tainted beef, they run the risk of getting the often fatal disease. Consumers can get more details about the recall from the website of the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
