Miley Cyrus' musical comeback could be just around the corner. After months of teasing fans on Twitter, the star dropped a not-so-subtle hint about when her much-anticipated new music would be released.
She tweeted that fans should tune into this weekend's Billboard Music Awards because she "maybe" had a single up her sleeve.
I can't wait for this coming weekend =] @billboard— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) May 13, 2013
Miley is not one of the previously confirmed performers set for the May 19th show, such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Jennifer Lopez. But it wouldn't be unheard of for Miley to drop news on Twitter before an official announcement. Last week, she prematurely announced that she had been named number one on "Maxim's" Hot 100 list, days before the the magazine revealed it.
The only new music to come from Miley so far this year has been her collaborations with Snoop Dogg on "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" and with will.i.am on a track called "Fall Down." Her last album was 2010's Can't Be Tamed.
